As a champion of learner-centricity, I come to instructional design with a rich and diverse learning background.
My personal student experiences help me better understand the needs and attitudes of the learners I work with.
Degree Studies
I believe that modular continuous learning will replace degree studies in the future. But for now, degree programs offer a solid foundation for many careers. I've completed three such programs and I'm thinking about one or two more in the near future.
I wouldn't be a lifelong learning champion if I didn't practice what I preach. Fortunately, it's very easy in my profession because most instructional designers love to learn. Thanks to numerous workshops, lectures, conferences, webinars and meetups, the world is my learning oyster.
